Role
At Skymantics, insightful data powers our products and solutions. Our product DataGenesis is the most powerful AI-based generator of synthetic populations in the market, and we have the ambition to validate its capabilities across use cases.
We are looking for a data passionate professional who can interpret, process, and visualize population data to demonstrate its full potential. We seek creative minds with knowledge of socioeconomic trends and behaviors and solid foundations in statistics, who can collaborate in a highly dynamic startup environment to deliver results at a fast pace.
Responsibilities
- Generate proofs of concept using synthetic population datasets to test and demonstrate innovative use cases in new markets
- Prototype data synthesis models for additional demographic, socioeconomic and health attributes, including use of Machine Learning and Generative AI algorithms when needed
- Present demonstration datasets to our engineering and sales teams, and to new customers and prospects
Qualified candidates
- Are proficient in conversational and written English
- Have experience working with tabular data on socioeconomic and/or financial domains
- Are knowledgeable of data science and stochastic analysis techniques (regression, Supervised/Unsupervised ML, clustering, probability functions, statistical characteristics of distributions)
- Have experience in manipulation and visualization of geospatial data in dashboards and interactive frontends
- Have a working knowledge of database schemas and SQL
- Are driven to learn, adapt and help support their teammates at all times, and do what is necessary for the team to deliver solutions on time and on quality
Exceptional candidates
- Have a Masters degree in economics, finance, or sociology
- Have experience writing and documenting Python code and Python libraries (scikit-learn, numpy, pandas), and knowledge of Jupyter Notebooks for coding experimentation and workflows
- Have experience with KDE, F Regression, Mutual Regression, K Means and Markov Models
- Have experience working in a CI/CD software environment
- Have a firm understanding of quality assurance and automated testing tools for data models
